In April 2025, the Brilliant Business Awards were presented in the Asta Theater in the heart of Beek. Five Hearts Tattoo from Beek received the Pearl. Basic Pharma in Geleen walked away with the Diamond. And the Ruby was awarded to The Bow Tie in Sittard.

The start-up is located on the Brightlands Chemelot Campus and will enter the international market for the first time in 2024. With the mission to provide a counterbalance to the highly polluting textile industry with a source material that is available all over the world.

Bistrot bar de Etalage has had a meteoric start in its first year in the heart of Geleen. Every day the team strives for perfection on the plate and in the glass and this does not go unnoticed, with mentions in the Michelin Guide and 13 Gault&Millau points. A clothing store has been completely renovated and has been adapted into an attractive restaurant where guests are catered for.
