The Pearl deserves:
- An entrepreneur whose (main) branch is located in the municipality of Beek, Stein or Sittard-Geleen.
- An entrepreneur who values customer loyalty, hospitality and service orientation.
- A company that shows healthy business economic development.
- A company that invests in its staff and vision of the future.
- Startende ondernemingen opgericht na 1 januari 2023 (categorie Robijn) komen niet in aanmerking voor de Parel.
- All nominations are assessed by an independent jury. The number of nominations received per company is therefore never decisive.

De jury kiest voor de Brilliant Business Awards per categorie zonder rangorde drie kandidaten (finalisten). De jury doet eigenstandig onderzoek. De drie kandidaten per categorie worden door de jury bezocht en geïnterviewd. De beoordelingsrapporten van de jury worden samengevat in een juryrapport. De winnende onderneming mag de titel ‘Winnaar Brilliant Business Awards 2026’ dragen en ontvangt naast een oorkonde een uniek beeld van een lokale kunstenaar. De overige twee genomineerden ontvangen een oorkonde. Alle van en over de kandidaat-bedrijven verkregen informatie wordt strikt vertrouwelijk behandeld.
