Uit handen van burgemeester van Beek Christine van Basten-Boddin, kreeg Snack Rebels in Geleen de Robijn-award uitgereikt. Gasterie de Fontein ontving de Parel van de Steinse wethouder Joep Ummels en wethouder Yvonne Salvino-Meijer van de gemeente Sittard-Geleen reikte de Diamant uit aan Hato Agricultural Lighting in Sittard. De keynote speech van Arno Folkerts over veranderingsmanagement zal velen nog lang heugen.
Brilliant Business Awards is een initiatief van de gemeenten Sittard-Geleen, Beek en Stein om het bloeiende bedrijfsleven in de Westelijke Mijnstreek te eren en te waarderen. De uitreiking van de ondernemersawards aan innovatieve, duurzame, pionierende en succesvolle ondernemers vond januari 2018 voor de eerste keer plaats in het Center Court van de Brightlands Chemelot Campus. De eerste editie ‘nieuwe stijl’ was in april 2023 in de hangar van het Vista College op Maastricht Airport in Beek. In 2027 vindt de spectaculaire achtste editie plaats van de Brilliant Business Awards. Vanaf de Dag van de Ondernemer (derde vrijdag van november 2027) is het weer mogelijk om bedrijven te nomineren.
